I love sharing great information about exercise all the major benefits it has. Here's some excellent research on the prevention and treatment of diabetes.

"According to the National Center for Health Statistics, diabetes joins heart disease, cancer, strokes, and respiratory ailments as one of the leading causes of death nationwide. However, according to the International Diabetes Federation, up to 80% of type 2 diabetes is preventable by maintaining a healthy diet and increase physical activity."

This study found that 150 minutes a week of regular exercise reduced the development of adult onset diabetes by 58% compared to 31% for the drug Metformin. A total of 3,234 men and women aged 51 years old participated in this three year study.

Why am I telling you this? So you can share this with your friends, family and loved ones that exercise is essential in preventing many diseases and living a long and productive life. The research is there, now its up to you to put one foot in front of the other and start moving.
