What do you do when your too tired to workout? This is great question and often asked among my clients.
There are many solutions to this question. I'll go over a few that have worked for my clients and myself.
1. Drink a cup of coffee - even though I'm not a huge advocator of tons of caffeine, it's still a great way to help get to the gym with some energy.
2. Eat a protein bar - a quick source of protein never hurt.
3. Drink a 10 oz. glass of room temperature H2O - Dehydration is the #1 cause of fatigue.
4. Consume a Vitamin C and B complex - great vitamins for combating low energy.
There are many ways to help increase your energy. Find what works for you and apply it. Exercise itself is a great way to increase energy. I always feel better leaving the gym knowing that I just did something great for my body and mind.
