Why I like The Biggest Loser TV Show

The Biggest Loser TV show is an inspiration for people that are overweight and obese. Seeing someone else transform their bodies and lose large amounts of weight gives others hope. Being a personal trainer, I'm always thinking of how to improve. What works for one client may not work for another and I always need to be on my toes. I like watching The Biggest Loser, it gives me ideas for my clients. I'm always thinking of new and creative ways to workout and motivate.

I think I had a good idea last night. I'm thinking of offering all my clients incentives for reaching their goals. Example: Male weighs 245 lbs. Overall goal is lose 4o lbs in the next 6 months. In the first month he has to lose 7 lbs. If he reaches this goal he will receive 2 free personal training sessions and every month after that for a weight loss of 7 lbs. He will have to meet me at least twice a week. When he reaches his overall weight loss goal of 40lbs, he will receive (Fill in Blank) the BEST IDEA will receive a personal exercise video from me-Kevin Moses.

Workouts with resistance bands

Workouts with resistance bands are simple to learn, convenient, and time efficient. I have been using resistance bands in my workouts for the past 2 years. I like using resistance bands when I don't have time to make it to the gym. I usually do them in the comfort of my home watching TV. Another reason I like resistance bands is the exercise selection is different than I would use with free weights. They can do things that free weights just can't do. Why make New Years Resolutions?

The New Year is here and its time to change. How many times have you made a New Years resolution and didn't follow through? Why do people need a date to make a change? Why do most of us fail at our resolutions? These are questions to ask yourself if you really do want to make that change.

I like making resolutions every year. It gives me time to reflect and see how the previous year worked. There is always room for improvement.

My New Years resolutions this year are

  • To make a to do list every month and week :)
  • Quit the things that stop me
  • Workout/cardio on regular basis
  • Learn and grow with career
  • Stay healthy-Mentally and physically
  • Work on strengthen relationships with family and friends and clients
