How often should I workout?

How often should I workout?  I was asked this question by a current client of mine.  It's simple, but there are many answers.

In regards to this client, his question was pertaining to rehabing his shoulder.  Rehabing the shoulder can be tricky.  I almost always recommend resting in between workout days.  Your body needs a day of rest on the area that was worked.  If not, you may be causing more harm than good.

Example: Workout Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  This will give your body enough time to recover and heal between workouts.
